George looks totally apprehensive in all these photos BECAUSE HE IS and it made me want to give everyone involved in this a hug. (Including Harry, even though he's not there. Sorry, Meghan.) Wills looks like he's talking comfortingingly about all the interesting things George will LEARN and DO and all the friends he's going to make and all the fun SPORTS he's going to get to try and George is just like "I FEEL VERY DOUBTFUL ABOUT THE WISDOM OF ALL OF THIS, DADDY. PLEASE TAKE ME HOME IMMEDIATELY, THANKS."

This is the Head of the Lower School, Helen Haslem, and she has a very welcoming aura. From everything I've read about this school, I get the impression that it's what I would call Posh Normal, in that it's very Fancy and Expensive but not uptight (if I am wrong, please do correct me). You KNOW all the other moms in George's class have had a ROLLICKING group text about what to wear to Parents Night (a memo apparently went out that was like, "JUST BE NORMAL AROUND WILLS AND KATE. BE NORMAL!!!" but easier said than done) and I'm sure they're all ALSO disappointed they didn't get to eyeball her here today. I mean, I'm sure SHE is the most disappointed, but you feel me. Think of your child, first, Kate, but also then spare a thought for all of his classmate's parents who want to stare at you and then pretend they weren't.
