I think part of that is because the seams on the dress -- right under the boobs, and right at her hips -- don't make it look designed for a belt, [even though it was](https://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/fall-2017-ready-to-wear/alessandra-rich/slideshow/collection?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#26). Would it look better without, or does it need something? I DO wish she'd worn the shoes on the model, or something red. But for polo on a non-sweltering May day, this works. ## Keri Russell ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31672702-1496623636.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Keri Russell Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 04 Jun 2017 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com When I say this outfit is "impossibly chic," I mean it in the sense that -- again -- pulling off dueling ruffles would be VERY CHALLENGING for a mere mortal. Objectively, [much like with her stripey shirt the other day](../../keri-russell-gets-a-walk-of-fame-star-and-a-very-very-tiny-felicity-reunion-05-2017), I think both of them on there are overkill and kinda silly, but lordy, she is working it. ## Kate Mara ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31672629-1496623544.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Kate Mara Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 04 Jun 2017 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com I REALLY think this flouts the spirit of the "no shirt no service" rule. (I don't know if that rule is in effect here, but it probably should be. ## Freida Pinto ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31672635-1496623558.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Freida Pinto Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 04 Jun 2017 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com This is about 90 percent there. Maybe 95? It's a scrolldown for me, anyway. ## with Luke Evans ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31672708-1496623648.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Freida Pinto, Luke Evans Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 04 Jun 2017 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com I actually like the pants; I just think they were better-suited to an event where she had opted for different shoes. Maybe something in a closed toe. ## Kendall Jenner ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31672643-1496623570.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Kendall Jenner Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 04 Jun 2017 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com Child what are you even doing. ## Nicky Hilton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31672673-1496623582.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Nicky Hilton Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 04 Jun 2017 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com Nicky is all, "The Hiltons are better-dressed than the Kardashians. MARK IT." ## Priyanka Chopra ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31672683-1496623596.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Priyanka Chopra Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 04 Jun 2017 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com Priyanka looks good, but also as if she's about to star in a 90s rom-com opposite Matt Dillon. ## Jamie Chung ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31672687-1496623610.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Jamie Chung Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 04 Jun 2017 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com Her dress looks like it's folding over itself in an attempt to get off her. ## Lucy Hale ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31672692-1496623623.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Lucy Hale Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 04 Jun 2017 Credit: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com I wonder if she and Nicole Kidman saw the same weather report and were like, "I'd better come prepared for anything." ## Lais Ribeiro ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31674958-1496623662.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Lais Ribeiro Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 03 Jun 2017 Credit: Dennis Van Tine/Future Image/WENN.com \*\*Not available for publication in Germany\*\* ANOTHER scrolldown. THOSE ARE SHOWER SHOES. Let us not pretend otherwise. ## Coco Rocha ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/06/wenn31674978-1496623676.jpg) The Tenth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park - Red Carpet Arrivals Featuring: Coco Rocha Where: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States When: 03 Jun 2017 Credit: Dennis Van Tine/Future Image/WENN.com \*\*Not available for publication in Germany\*\* Okay, I enlarged, and those appear to be boots made to LOOK like they could be socks inside strappy sandals. But they really supremely do not seem like Walking Around On Grass at Polo shoes, so I'm guessing Coco either didn't watch much, or did it from the comfort of a seat in a paved area.
