Fingers crossed this slideshow works; yesterday, things got hairy again. Thematically appropriate, because some of these looks are ALSO hairy, in a sense. This collection is really fun, though. And Germanier is interesting -- all of this, essentially, is upcycled. Per Vogue, "the designer is probably the most environmentally responsible creator on the haute couture calendar. Well, with the exception of Ronald van der Kemp; both are users of deadstock materials. Germanier explained at the Palais de Tokyo that he has an arrangement with LVMH to use their overstock. 'We have nine houses supporting this collection. It’s not the fabric, it’s unsold product.'" Some of these looks are also made from pencils, and foam ear plugs! That is art. It's also entertaining. Let's look!
