I read an article about how J.Lo's team did her hair for this, and it basically said they washed it, blew it dry, and then lubed it up to within an inch of its life to completely negate the effect of that blow-dry time. Reading that reminds me of the age-old argument for never making your bed because you're just going to get in it again later.
