## with Ashanti, Fat Joe, and DJ Khaled

Jennifer, of course, is wearing a dress made of neck belts. As you do. Ashanti looks like a chandelier that wants to be a cowgirl. And the others all look... as they do. I guess Ashanti and Fat Joe performed. I assume DJ Khaled also did, although for him, that just means standing on stage saying other people's names and making affirmative sounds.

In case you wanted to see the cake. How many tiers do we think are actually edible?

This seems like it was an expensive party. And it's not overtly not merched, because there isn't any obvious branding in any of the photos -- it isn't, like, Jennifer Lopez Turns 50 With Hypnotiq," or whatever -- so ... pardon me, Jennifer, and obviously you do whatever you want, but am I wrong to be surprised that the only famous people here are being paid (maybe) to perform? Isn't she best friends with Leah Remini? Doesn't she have World of Dance costars? George and Amal love a photo op. Can't Derek Hough show up and twirl her around the dance floor for a photo op? You do your birthday however you want, J.Lo, but I kind of expected this to be WAY more OVER THE TOP FABULOUS.

Seriously, who IS this dude photobombing Jennifer's cake moment? Not that she isn't allowed to have friends I don't recognize, obviously. You may not know this, but J.Lo and I are not intimates. Anyway, I've decided they didn't rent out the space at ALL and just showed up to someone else's party with a cake, took some photos, and left.

... and late evening, in which his shirt is on its way off and his eyes are now closed and she may or may not have confiscated his drink right here.
