That's Jackie's daughter Caroline next to her, looking mildly doubtful but mostly okay with this whole turn of events, as they're heading back to the yacht for the reception; Onassis looks like he's got stuff on him, but at least some of that stuff is intentional and the rest is, I think, flower petals. Everyone else here seems to have THOUGHTS.

I don't believe we have any snaps of the actual wedding, which -- Informative Caption tells me -- was held in "the tiny chapel on the Island of Scorpios in Greece." Jackie's dress is....fine! She's only 39 here and I realize it was a different time, but this dress feels a little fussy and old for her age.

(Original Caption) Aristotle Onassis married Jackie Kennedy on his private island. Onassis is shown with a drink in his hand and Jackie is smiling and talking into a microphone and wearing her white wedding dress.

The lace is so pretty, though, and who am I to argue with Mr. Valentino?

It's entertaining to me how many photos feature Onassis holding a drink. I mean, it IS the man's wedding reception!

Looks like it was a hell of a party.

This was the day before the wedding and THIS look is so iconic to me.
