I wish Janelle didn't pose like this in all of her outfits, because they don't all require it... but some of them MIGHT, and this is one of them. I don't know how a person wears this seriously and casually. Those are basically person-size doll clothes. I feel like we're very close to Thom Browne full-on opening a deranged American Girl prep school for actual humans.

And yes, of COURSE there's a bow in the back big enough to be lumbar support.

Janelle also attended a Glass Onion Murder Mystery Experience (!!) in Atlanta. I wish I'd gone to that. The movie is really, really fun, and there's a whole puzzle box at the beginning that is RIGHT up my alley. I assume they didn't recreate those for this, ALAS. Anyway, Janelle is rocking a Chaplin aesthetic here and doing it rather well. But this is perhaps an example of where going OTT on the posing didn't actually help. She can sell that velvet suit just by walking around normally.

And THIS is a Glass Onion Tastemaker event, which makes me giggle a little given that K.Hud plays an influencer. (She's very funny in it.) I LOVE Janelle's coat, in indirect proportion to the amount I like Kate's sheer pants. Between those and the loose blazer that's hanging there with a case of the blahs, I feel like the only garment that's on her body in an authoritative way is the bra top.
