A Hooters waitress (upper right) photographs the scene as US actresses Jennifer Garner (L) and Judy Greer (R) participate in a ceremony honoring Garner with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Hollywood, California, USA, 20 August 2018. Garner received the 2,641st star in the Motion Picture category.

PROOF. My favorite part of this is the Hooters employee taking a photo from the second-floor window.

Some other Hooters patrons got in on the action, as well. As you would. I am glad I have never been around to see any of these, because I'd totally end up in the background of someone's picture with my phone up, looking skeptical because that's my default position.

Fortunately most of her photos are really just to the SIDE of the Hooters, in front of all the Japanese lotions. Also, how lovely she looks.

We do need to discuss the hair, though. The low, loose side-bun tricked me into thinking she'd cut her hair for a second, and now it just looks irritatingly messy -- by which I mean, if it were on my head, I'd be fussing over the heavier side of it and constantly worrying about whether it was falling out completely.

She has managed this potentially awkward portion of events VERY smoothly.

With the proud parents. I wonder if it ever stops being weird to them that their daughter is a Big Damn Deal.

Interestingly, none of these people is in Peppermint, her new film (as we've noted before, these stars are bought and paid for by studios or fan clubs, almost always in conjunction with a movie release). Steve did Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with her, Bryan Cranston has an upcoming flick on the docket with her called Jackpot (and was in Argo, but... wrong half of that couple), and Judy Greer was of course in 13 Going on 30, which I love. I think Jennifer Garner was perfect casting for that. It's nice to see people from all over her career, although someone from Alias would also have been fun, AHEM, SPY DADDY. Also, I looked at this and thought, "Oh, YES, please date Steve Carell." Then I remembered he's married. So, never mind.

Look at these adorable muffins. I see a lot of both parents in them, although Seraphina down at the bottom REALLY has Ben's profile/face.

NOODLE. So cute. My beans are very huggy and kissy still, even at 9, and when that stops I am going to be VERY UNHAPPY. I also assume Violet is surveying the crowds and wondering how long she has to wait before she can run for political office.
The Whole Fam

It is SO CUTE that Samuel is hugging on Seraphina so hard. They are a happy clan, or so it seems, and I am pro-Garner so YAY, GOOD FOR YOU, come back to TV sometime. We had fun there.
