So, JUST this part seems fine, right? It sort of looks like she's at graduation and they put a black hood over a brown gown, but whatever -- at this point I'm open.

And then HUH. I understand the vibe, and I don't object on principle, but it's a terribly made iteration of it. The lovely skirt is a cousin to Monica Barbaro's successful outfit at the Academy Museum Gala, but the bunchy, off-kilter construction of the top is drowning it in mediocrity.

The top is SO SHLUMPY. Also, in 95 percent of the pictures, she's fiddling with the bottom of the sweatshirt or grabbing the skirt. It's so messy. It's ruining itself.

I'm sure it's COMFY, but... not here, not now. So baggy, so unflattering all around, so Laundry Day.
