# Jeremy Pope Is Keeping It Spicy

Jeremy Pope is on the short list of potential Oscar nominees for Elegance Bratton's *The Inspection*, and I am rooting for that to happen in part so that he sticks around the awards circuit. Here is this man, at a Q&A, in strategically torn shirt that would be perfect for skating a long program to something where he has to emote by ripping it open. I'm thinking "Gethsemane," right on the line, "Nail me to your cross and break me," but I will accept submissions. I can just see it flapping in the refrigerated breeze as he throws his head back in agony, clawing at himself, then reaching for the judges before hitting a spin.

He also wore this on a tour of the late-night shows:

All I know is, I think he and Cate Blanchett might have similar taste in pantsuits, and I think they should call each other.
