New Gucci is doing such nice custom work for Jessica Chastain, [but the runway was pretty joyless](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/the-new-gucci-is-back-to-basics-09-2023/). Maybe they'll be like Louis Vuitton, where the dreaminess of the bespoke gowns far outpaces the clothes on the catwalk and we can only frown in confusion about why. I don't love this as much as [the one she wore in Venice](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/jessica-chastain-lit-up-venice-like-a-goddess-09-2023/), because I keep thinking it's sitting crooked, and might also be low enough to need a slim necklace with it. But it's still sexy and shiny, and almost looks like it has texture? I'd rather look at this 40 times than view the runway slideshow again.
