Last year at the Emmys, Joey King showed up on Zac Posen's arm [in this raspberry confection](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/emmys-2018-fug-nations-best/70th-emmy-awards-2018-arrivals-29?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), after a big year in which her tiny Netflix rom-com *The Kissing Booth* somehow got super popular (it's also really pretty bad, but in a way that was sort of fun to unpack). It was one of those giant gowns on a celebrity people didn't know as well that felt like An Announcement. Well, maybe manifesting works: This year, she's attending as a nominee for *The Act.* She's growing out the shaved head in a way that's very gamine and charming, and I love the color of this. It's the pants, Marty. Something's gotta be done about the pants. I mean, a bra top is never my favorite, but the trousers are so crotch-bunchy. Its just pointing RIGHT to itself. Why do crotches always want to be SEEN? STAND DOWN, CROTCHES.
