Chrissy and John
Chrissy has found a coat that addresses the twin pain of chronically cold torso and chronically hot shoulders. John looks very nice and they both look like they got sent a swag box from, like, Eddie Bauer (although in another photo, you can see John's coat is from Acne Studios).
John sincerely looks like he's doing a catalog shoot.
"Do you think, if I threw it really hard, I could break one of those windows?"
"I loooove throwing the football. I sure do."
It is very hard to look cool throwing a football, as it turns out.
Chrissy got in on the action as well, because she knew she had on a dramatic jacket and you can't waste an opportunity like that. When it rides up like this, it looks like a life preserver, but also sort of cool.
"CAN I BE DONE YET."
I have to note that, for as much as these two clearly do not mind being each other's Instagram spouses -- by which I mean, just that they're fine with constantly documenting each other and everything -- this does not look like a great photo (I don't think they've posted it) and also I would be tempted to snatch the phone out of his hand.
Chrissy has been very into hotpants lately. First there was the viral video -- from her IG -- of her wearing a similarly tiny bra and shorts to scamper into and out of a restaurant bathroom, and now here she's on her way to Polo Bar in lace-up velvet knickers and a shirt that looks like it's quitting. And John looks to be in chic pajamas.
THIS is the kind of New York wardrobe that makes sense to me. I love all of it, up to and including and maybe especially the earmuffs.
