He had 14 points and missed a chunk of games with a thumb injury, and yet he triumphed. ## Gabriel Landeskog ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/06/shutterstock_editorial_13001814l-1656348847.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Phelan M Ebenhack/AP/Shutterstock (13001814l) Colorado Avalanche left wing Gabriel Landeskog (92) lifts the Stanley Cup with NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly after the team defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 of the NHL hockey Stanley Cup Finals, in Tampa, Fla Stanley Cup Avalanche Lightning Hockey, Tampa, United States - 26 Jun 2022 I enjoy that it looks like the sparks are coming out of the cup. ## Landeskog ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/06/GettyImages-1405337170-1656348675.jpg) TAMPA, FLORIDA - JUNE 26: Gabriel Landeskog #92 of the Colorado Avalanche lifts the Stanley Cup after defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in Game Six of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Final at Amalie Arena on June 26, 2022 in Tampa, Florida. (Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images) Landeskog is the captain of the Avs. Captain Landeskog would also be a great name for a pirate, and indeed, his beard would be pretty respectable on that front as well. ## Andrew Cogliano ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/06/GettyImages-1405338965-1656348726.jpg) TAMPA, FLORIDA - JUNE 26: Andrew Cogliano #11 of the Colorado Avalanche hoists the Stanley Cup after the Colorado Avalanche defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game Six of the 2022 Stanley Cup Final at Amalie Arena on June 26, 2022 in Tampa, Florida. The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in Game Six to take the best of seven Stanley Cup Final series 4 games to 2\. (Photo by Dave Sandford/NHLI via Getty Images) He seems shell-shocked, as one might be -- he only joined the Avs in March. He obviously took his beard cultivation very seriously. ## Cale Makar, Steven Stamkos ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/06/GettyImages-1405350390-1656348815.jpg) TAMPA, FLORIDA - JUNE 26: Cale Makar #8 of the Colorado Avalanche and Steven Stamkos #91 of the Tampa Bay Lightning shake hands after Game Six of the 2022 Stanley Cup Final at Amalie Arena on June 26, 2022 in Tampa, Florida. (Photo by Julio Aguilar/Getty Images) It must be SO nice for Sakic to win one as a GM to go with the two he has as a player with the Avs. Five years ago the Avs were in the cellar, and some smart, patient moves got them here. Well-earned. ## Jacob MacDonald ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/06/GettyImages-1405340459-1656348756.jpg) TAMPA, FLORIDA - JUNE 26: Jacob MacDonald #26 of the Colorado Avalanche lifts the Stanley Cup after defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in Game Six of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Final at Amalie Arena on June 26, 2022 in Tampa, Florida.
