Jordan Staal

The beard is solid. But Jordan, the oldest Conn-Smythe winner at 37, either put his teeth in for the ceremony OR is still somehow rocking his original pearly whites after all these years. I'm not sure which is crazier to me.

Mark Jankowski #77 and Brandon Bussi #32

The flying sweaty hair is incredible, as is the random helmet in the foreground. These are solid beards, from what I can tell.

Taylor Hall #71

Does he kind of look like... hockey Matt Damon? He ALSO has pearly whites. So did one of the guys in the previous slide. Are hockey players keeping their teeth more now? I must know.

Head coach Rod Brind'Amour, Jaccob Slavin #74

Somebody give me the deep research on hockey players and their original teeth, STAT. Also, this is outstanding facial hair. It's like a stuffed animal.

Another magical array of furry faces. Super beardwork AND perhaps dental work.

Frederik Andersen #31 and Nikolaj Ehlers #27

I love when we get a ginger beard. That season where (nearly) every Pittsburgh Penguin had the same Yukon Cornelius face was such a treat.

Shayne Gostisbehere

"THIS IS SO FUN! Y'all really gostisbehere."

Seth Jarvis #24

It must be weird to get the cup later in the rotation, when your teammates aren't really watching anymore.

K'andre Miller #19

That is some POTENT high cheek hair.

Jalen Chatfield #5 and Alexander Nikishin #21

Jalen (right) always has that much hair, honestly. Alexander has a baby face, and frankly I thought maybe he'd have Sidney Crosby levels of difficulty getting that thing covered in hair, but he's done his utmost to contribute and the results are solid.

Alexander Nikishin #21, Pyotr Kochetkov #52, and Andrei Svechnikov #37

HARK! A MISSING TOOTH! Who'd have thought he'd be a unicorn in this slideshow.

Nikolaj Ehlers #27

"I just want you to know, with utmost seriousness, that I DID intentionally try to make my sideburns and beard look like hockey stick."

Jordan Martinook #48

Honestly, everyone REALLY gave the playoff beards their all. I'm proud of them.

Rod Brind'Amour

Except for Rod, who apparently did not engage with the shrubberies AT ALL.

Jackson Blake #53

"GUYS THERE IS A MAN GROWING OUT OF MY CROTCH CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP."

Jackson Blake #53

Maybe the man growing out of his crotch stole all the hair-growth hormones out of his face.

Nicolas Deslauriers #44

This is pretty great. It's like a festive crime scene. The victim: The Las Vegas Golden Knights.

Brandon Bussi #32

What a great photo idea.

Jordan Martinook #48 and Jaccob Slavin #74

The photographers in the arena were getting crafty.

Stanley Cup Champions the Carolina Hurricanes

Congrats, gents! You played one hell of a postseason.

Well Played, Jubilant Men in Beards: The Carolina Hurricanes Win the Stanley Cup

But let's talk about the teeth.
