I mean, I love this. She looks crisp and chic. I know it's for a TV show, and I am not saying she should give up the crazy forever because I find it very entertaining. But throwing a curveball like this into her actual rotation every once in a while would be fun.
There are a lot of layers here -- pants, some kind of wispy skirt maybe, a trench, a turtleneck -- but again, it all works. I am so curious what character she's playing. Compared to Elsbeth's aesthetic, she's like the angel of death.
It's highly possible she's just on her way to her trailer here. "Controversial muse" is right.
THIS feels more like our girl, and made me laugh in a sincere way. I suppose THIS could just be her rocking up to her trailer, too. One never knows with Julia. She's like... half backup dancer, half Bridget Jones on a mini-break in a convertible.
This is from earlier in August. I just wanted you to know that, left to what we know are her own devices, she's still apt to leave the house like she's on her way to a big dance audition.
