These deep-vee dresses can sometimes end up looking stiff and a bit boxy, and I think that's what's happening here. It isn't bad, at all, and bless her, she busted out the right jewels. It's just maybe a teeny bit square? Honestly, that's a nit -- she also looks foxy as hell.

It feels a leeeeettle precarious from the side. But damn. And every time I try that hair color, it ends up too electric and takes a week to rinse out and then fades like three weeks later. Red is tough. Hang onto your colorist like grim death, Julie. It's good work.

I like her art deco breastplate much more than I expected from the phrase "art deco breastplate." It's sleek and she's wearing it well (I have to assume her pants are the same length when she's standing straight...?). Then again, it's possible I like this because I've seen what comes next...

This is SUCH a hodgepodge. The sparkly band jacket is a little TOO high and the pants are a little TOO low (they honestly look like someone swapped in vintage Gap khakis). And those beige shoes don't even go here.

HOWEVER, this is fun. I like it BETTER when I imagine that she's wearing something underneath and just happens to have a rad sequined coat kicking around her house.
