Juno Awards

Nelly Furtado in Alexis Bittar

This could maybe do with a necklace, but otherwise, I think this is smashing.

Sarah McLachlan

It's so nice to see her. Fumbling Toward Ecstasy is SUCH a good album. And it's been long enough since I've seen one of the sad animal ads that uses "Angel" that I can finally listen to it again.

Joni Mitchell

Perfect.

Valerie Roberts

It's giving, "I was in bed. I forgot. The coat was an emergency decision."

Alessia Cara

I didn't realize she was still making music. I remember when she first broke out, it felt like her brand was cargo pants. This is elegant.

Priyanka

I like imagining that when Priyanka got out of the limo, there were NO lipstick marks.

Dre Ngozi

THIS Barbie makes hammocks. Badly.

Isabella Lovestory

This looks like something a six-year old would have designed in 1984. "And my purse? It's also a PHONE!!!!!"

Tia Wood

She's an indigenous artist. I wish I had the details on the outfit -- the beadwork is so intricate.

Hayley Gene Penner

Yes, this is an actual baby, and it is actually hers. She brought her three-month old. She makes her own music but is also a prolific songwriter, including "West End Girl" for Lily Allen's latest album, and songs for Eric Nam (recently on The Traitors) and Lennon Stella (Nashville). And it was her first nomination, so she probably figured, hey, I'm gonna be leaking anyway, might as well multitask.

SadBoi

Sadboi won Rap Album of the Year, I believe, in an outfit that looks like something a very thirsty model would have worn to a Golden Globes afterparty in, say, 2015. It's hideous, in a tragique way. The bodice even makes a V for "vulgar." Somewhere Tim Gunn just passed out for fifteen seconds.

Mammott and Furcorn of My Singing Monsters

My face when I saw SadBoi.

SadBoi

It's incredible when an outfit that's groping her is a huge improvement.
