As I noted in the subhead to this post, I have lost the plot on Chanel lately -- or more accurately, Chanel may have lost the plot on Chanel. What IS this? Maybe it's because Outlander is back, but every time I look at it, my brain first leaps to, "She's been Sexy Hunting and hooked her rabbit pelts to her waist."

Apparently it's the outfit so YIKES, I downloaded it twice. (That rhyme is close enough, yes? Yes.) The tutu is not see-thorugh, and neither is the bra, but the rest is a dizzying array of Varyingly Opaque. I think back to [Rihanna's non-outfit that she wore to Dior](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/rihanna-is-doing-the-absolute-most-in-paris-03-2022/), and like... at least that thing wasn't even really trying. This IS trying. The problem is, what it's trying is ACID.

Also, her hair and makeup were truly great. What a waste of that. Then again, if you know going in that your outfit is going to make the rounds in every online outlet and glossy print mag that we have left, you might as well make sure your head is spectacular.

She picked a more standard pantsuit for the Independent Spirits, and it's really bunchy and baggy and poorly fitted. Also, I beg of you, Chanel, don't give people button nipples.

There's also a tie in the back, for no reason. In this shot you can see the texture and shimmer, which is nice, but it's a shame that it's part of a garment that's poorly done. And I cannot stop screaming about the metal nipples. Why. WHY. Literally no one is going to look at her face anywhere near as much as they'll be staring at her boobs wondering if the placement is accurate. A pox on thee, Chanel.
