I actually like both of these dresses; I always like Erdem Day Dresses on Kate (although I think this is a cocktail reception? Who even knows), and Sophie looks slick. I am a little confused about Sophie's footwear choices, though.

This pic makes me giggle. Her expression is like, "I might give this a shot once I've had this baby." (This dress was Stella McCartney's, made with silk from India.)

This is an amazing piece; I actually think Sophie WOULD consider wearing it because she occasionally wears something a little risky. This look was by Lucian Matis; the face piece is actually a "Namibian roll necklace made from ostrich eggshells that are broken in to small pieces, clipped into circles and pierced with a hole. The beads have been heated to create different colours." I would love to see a closer-up photo of that.
