Kate seems DELIGHTED to be there and I am VERY delighted that she's wearing PURPLE SHOES and has a PURPLE BAG and an actual COLORED PEDICURE rather than her usual (elegant) neutral one.

She and Wills and the kids are -- as I mentioned -- off to Poland and Germany next week and if we get Interesting Shoes the entire time, I will be as chipper as she looks here. I just feel very proud. SO PROUD.

Also: This looks like a great place to throw a party. Harry and Meghan famously had an after-hours date here several months ago and I cannot imagine how romantic that was. It's so romantic that I'm annoyed I didn't think of it myself so we could stick it into The Royal We.
