I am sure this is not the case but I sincerely wish the Publicists Awards gave out awards for like, "Best Fake Relationship," "Best Crisis Management," "Lifetime Achievement in Secret-Keeping," "Greatest Use of Paparazzi Photos," "Most Effective Email Blast," "Best Interview Placement," "Best Divorce Announcement," and "PR Opportunity of the Year." Like, I want to celebrate the person who came up with the idea of using What's In My Bag as a way to (a) plug your primary client and (b) plug your *other* clients, all in one magazine page! That was SMART! And you KNOW there are PR folks out there who DESERVE a prize for keeping a lid on certain people but can never be recognized simply because that very recognition would blow said lid. SOMEONE out there once wrestled a phone away from someone who was about to post something unhinged on social media and that person deserves credit! I see you, PR people! I hope you at least got some canapes at this thing and also that whoever does PR for Georges Chakra gets a little hat tip for the fact that I'm featuring this dress on Kate Hudson and saying publicly that I quite like it.
