## Kate Hudson

Kate was promoting Le Divorce here in 2003, and was pregnant with her first child. I find it charming that she's wearing something that could as easily have been grabbed at Macy's for comfort, rather than something Majorly Major. No, she saved that for the premiere itself...

SHRIEK. [In her fugtrospective](https://www.gofugyourself.com/the-kate-hudson-birthday-fugtrospective-04-2020?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), I called this "[like a Pier 1 lamp that never sold](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/kate-hudsons-fugtrospective/60th-venice-film-festival-venice-italy-31-aug-2003?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)," and I stand by it. And its ridiculousness has nothing to do with her being pregnant, and everything to do with itself. I might amend my comment to her being the fanciest jellyfish at the sea cotillion.

## 2012

IN CONTRAST, look how sleek and chic this is, except for her absentee feet. Fun fact: This is the look they use for her headshot on her Wikipedia page.

## in Versace

And that is just gorgeous. A very high bar to clear.
