This photo makes me laugh. Kate's like, "HELLO EVERYONE!!!" and this gentleman, one [Sir Simon Charles Wessely](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon%5FWessely?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), is taking that moment to be like, "hmmmm, I think it's more like an early April due date. I'm going pop down to Ladbrokes after this."

Kate looks cute in this. I don't super-love the bow at her throat -- it looks so 80s, in a way which will SURELY prompt a variety of publications to write some article about how she's "twinning with Diana" using a photo of Diana where she's wearing something only vaguely similar -- but the whole thing is very cheery.

"Behold...The Royal Society of Medicine!!!" One of the best things about this photo, I think, is how delighted that dude in the background looks. "I didn't know this was happening today!"

"I'm just glad they're letting me sit down."
