Let's kick this off with our Informative Caption From The Photo House. AHEM: "Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of SportsAid, meets potential young athletes at a SportsAid workshop at the GSK Human Performance Laboratory."
Who DOESN'T want to go to a Human Performance Laboratory? (Especially because, as this is in England, it's a laBORatory, which makes it sound that much more mysterious/intriguing.) Unless, I suppose, there was the possibility that, at some point, someone might turn to you and say, "your performance as a human, frankly, kinda sucks."
Anyway, outfit-wise, obviously I don't think this is going to light anyone's hair on fire with boiling hot rage OR passionate, mad love, but it's totally nice and work-appropriate. (I have a dress almost exactly like this, from Madewell, and so far no one has told me that my performance as a human is subpar whilst wearing it.)
I know this is basically EXACTLY the same picture, but this had a better shot of the boots. I do like a flat boot. Do we like THESE flat boots? DISCUSS. Also: I feel cheated that there was no coat involved today. I was promised coat and boot season. (By myself, but whatever.)
"And then, here, Ohio has 18 electoral votes. So if we give that to -- what's that? Oh, I'm terribly sorry. I thought this was CNN. I was wondering where John King was."
(This was actually a thingie [technical term] that measured brain response and reflexes. THIS is what you ask the pregnant woman to do, instead of handing her a volleyball and saying, "have at it, ma'am. Let's see how much sorcery you can REALLY do.")
"Oooh, juicy. I WILL have Harry call you."
