So, I love this. First of all, I think she'd recently gotten into a habit of wearing skirts that veered slightly dowdy in length. Not full-on dowdy, you understand. But a length with the potential of dowdiness. But this length is perfect on this dress. It feels very youthful, while the tweed keeps it profresh.

I also think the shoes, with their chunky heel, work here. There's a lot going on in this dress; for once, a fairly standard shoe is the right call.

I'm very jealous of this outing. The V&A is one of my favorite museums in the entire world. Once, I got a bit lost there and ended up wandering into a room that was just cake servers. Just a room of silver cake servers. I'm very envious of all of you who get to go bop around there this summer.

This is the "newly created underground Sainsbury gallery of the V&A museum" -- which is explained in that Telegraph bit I linked to previously -- and "the museums director Tristram Hunt and architect Amanda Levete." Tristram Hunt is a very British name (he's handsome)!
