This should please those of you who always want her to wear trousers; it pleases *me* because I am a Sailor Pants Obsessive who keeps buying them in search for the perfect pair. (These on Kate[ are J Crew, but sold out](https://shopstyle.it/l/7GP?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and I am bitter because I don't know how I missed this pair. Instead, I own [*this* pair from J Crew in navy and also in red (they only have a stripe left)](https://shopstyle.it/l/7FN?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), but Kate's are better, I suspect. I also bought [this linen set, *also* from J Crew](https://shopstyle.it/l/7G1?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), but I can't quite figure out how to wear them because they lace up the back. I almost think I need to find a cropped top for them? Can I do that? I feel frightened. You guys, I could talk about sailor pants for the rest of my life. In fact, I think I've totally lost track of what I'm actually supposed to be writing about here.)

Right, Kate. Yes. She is also wearing her most interesting pair of daytime shoes. PROGRESS.
