Greetings! Kate has two events today -- she's going to The Sexy Ladies of Hedge Funds event tonight (I jest, my dears, it's actually called the "100 Women in Finance Gala Dinner") -- but behold! This is the first engagement on the calendar. Kate attended the Royal Foundation's 'Mental Health in Education' conference this morning in VERY bouncy hair, and a flippy skirt suit that I quite like except for the fact that it's Dolce & Gabbana and [they've been on a run of being totally awful the last few years -- not as designers (they've actually turned out some good stuff), as humans](https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/23/fashion/dolce-gabbana-china-disaster-backlash.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I think this look is very charming, actually, but if I were her, [I would have just worn my Chanel.](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/wills-and-kate-take-paris-day-two-in-chanel-03-2017/) Same idea, same price point, less fraught.

Having said that, this is a good cause:

> Launched by The Duchess of Cambridge in 2018, [#MentallyHealthySchools](https://twitter.com/hashtag/MentallyHealthySchools?src=hash&ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) gives primary schools free access to the highest quality mental health resources, helping teachers better support their pupils’ mental health.

Kate gave a speech:

> "It is clear that the positive development of our children is directly linked to those who care for them, teachers, carers and parents." — The Duchess of Cambridge [#MHinEducation](https://twitter.com/hashtag/MHinEducation?src=hash&ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) [pic.twitter.com/47sBaYQtgS](https://t.co/47sBaYQtgS?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

And there was also much sitting around taking notes and being think-y. Let's take a look.

PS: Here's a sneak peek at tonight's dress -- it's Gucci -- which I'll be covering later.
