I do really like how vaguely period-appropiate this feels. (Kate does love a vaguely period-appropriate look.) Some of the brilliant ladies on Kate Watch along with us figured out -- we think -- what her pin is: It's a golden rotor, a part of the mechanism that went into the Enigma, which was the code-breaking machine. Isn't that neat? I believe it belonged to her grandmother.

I wish both the waistline AND the hem was higher on this; it's VERY 80s. Mid-calf would work better, I think?
