But of course I was always going to start with this very good doggie! Who is clearly like, "yes, you're great but I believe a child over there is about to drop a piece of cheese..."

Her Royal Highness will first visit Lavender Primary School in support of Place2Be's Children's Mental Health Week 2019. Place2Be, of which Her Royal Highness is Patron, is a leading UK children's mental health charity providing in-school support and expert training to improve the emotional wellbeing of pupils, families, teachers and school staff. The charity works directly with more than 282 primary and secondary schools across England, Scotland and Wales. The Duchess will then visit Alperton Community School to meet the UK’s first winner of the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize, Andria Zafirakou, and find out more about the programmes theschool runs to support both students and teachers with their mental wellbeing. Ms Zafirakou won the global prize in 2018 in recognition of her contribution to the school community.
Here's a good moment for Informative Caption, as I also note that the female school employee next to Kate is wearing super cute shoes herself. Please igore the fact that Informative Caption has written itself in future tense despite the fact that all of this has already happened: "Kates will first visit Lavender Primary School in support of Place2Be's Children's Mental Health Week 2019. I actually REALLY like this outfit, and it also makes me laugh that the pockets look like eyes, and the wrinkles it got from her sitting looks like a grumpy mouth, so it sort of looks like she's wearing Oscar the Grouch -- which is a good fit for a mental health-related event! (Though I must note that I personally love and relate to Oscar -- he's grumpy AND he is a hoarder.)

I am into this -- the boucle-ish fabric does seem to get a little crinkled, but crinkles are a fact of life, and I am always going to support the bright dress-opaque tights-kicky boots combo. I might have argued that the dress could be a tiny bit shorter? But one must not show too much of the royal leg for feal of the royal watchers having a royal cow.

This fabric is so lightly fuzzy in a way that makes me want to touch it, but I assume you're not allowed to idlely stroke a duchess's arm.
