I love this photo. It's like a still from a TV show where Kate is the sassy editor of a lady's magazine.
However, Informative Caption instead tells us that she's laughing with "Sir Michael Dixon, Museum Director, as they view specimens at The Natural History Museum in London. Kate is the patron of the museum, and I am bummed that it's not the Angela Mormont Centre because I had a lot of Game of Thrones jokes.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of the Natural History Museum, will visit the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity to hear how it is championing and helping to protect UK wildlife. The Angela Marmont Centre (AMC) is a unique scientific hub located in the Natural History Museum that is dedicated to the study of the UK's natural world. It helps public visitors identify their finds, provides vital training in wildlife identification, and leads research and citizen science projects that are helping to transform our understanding of over 80,000 species of wildlife known to exist in the UK today. With populations of many UK species declining, and a significant proportion threatened with local extinction, the AMC brings together a host of individuals and organisations all dedicated to building understanding of the UK's wildlife, so that it can be better protected for future generations.

That is very neat! The Natural History Museum is also GORGEOUS and a place where Kate often wears interesting shoes.

This olive green/raspberry color combo is so so SO SO 90s -- which ARE back -- and I kind of like it? Navy blue seems like the go-to color with that olive, if black feels too harsh, and it's sort of fun to see her Try It. (Also, somewhere in Windsor, Meghan is delighted by the mere existence of olive-colored trousers.)

These pants are meant to be flowy, but the crotch on them is SUPER long and I think that would drive me personally batty.

They're not GREAT from the back, either. The Stretchy Waistband is tough.
