I think this whole overall look is very cute, and totally right for an event designed to celebrate getting kids into sailing, whilst avoiding the beloved but perhaps overplayed Breton stripe. I do have notes about the pants on Kate, which I like, but! She is long-of-torso, and short-of-leg (relatively speaking; I too suffer from this except I'm also short overall) and I think that sometimes makes the length of pants like these look a LITTLE weird when they've got a more boot-cut leg. Overall, though, I think this is crisp and fun, and it's good to see her branching out a bit.
