I liked the writing in today's Informative Caption: "Britain's Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, arrives to visit her 'Back to Nature' show garden during the press day for the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival in East Molesey. The Duchess of Cambridge intends to highlight the benefits of the great outdoors and to inspire children, families and communities to get back to nature." She's also wearing good earrings that are also SURPRISINGLY cheap.

For a moment, I thought Kate was clutching a cocktail. She is not. It is a plant. Anyway, this dress seems right on for this event and I do think these espadrilles feel...right-ish with it. (Although I am concerned she is wearing hose with them. KATE NO.)

Kate was apparently quite obsessed with her Chelsea garden -- sneaking back there to water it and everything -- and her clutching this flower-related reading material has a real Hermione Granger vibe that I appreciate.

"You don't understand! HOW could I know FOR SURE that it had been watered, if I hadn't watered it myself?!?!! I couldn't. Exactly."

Behold! The elusive royal thumbs up.

And another -- very jolly! -- entry into my favorite genre of royal photos: People Stuck Inside Plants.
