Well, well, well. SOMEONE has better seats now than she did, pre-engagement. This look -- what we can see of it -- is so sweetly amateurish. Especially compared to the next one, which is like the exact same idea, except expensive and fashion-y.

I actually LOVE this dress. I don't know if she'd ever wear something this bare again, but it's so....AGGRESSIVELY THEMATIC.

I love the back. It's like if all your tennis costumes had an orgy.

This is another all-time favorite of mine - I always think of it as Kate's Anne of Green Gables dress, as she wore it when she and Wills visited Prince Edward Island, and it basically feels like an Anne costume to me, but it's also very Old Timey Tennis Costume, which is also appealing.

Kate has carried this sassy little clutch to Wimbleton more than once -- you'll see it again in a couple of slides. This is her Elegant Business Lady Costume. Do not ask me what Pips is wearing.

This was this men's final (it was between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer), and ergo, Kate is dressed for MAXIMUM SPORTSFACES. (FWIW, I like this dress, but I recall it being somewhat divisive among the commentariat.)

I honestly hope no one ever tells them to stop making sportsfaces. Wills and Kate Make Sportsfaces is one of my favorite things that they do.

YES!

Sweet Zimmermann eyelet frock, how I love thee. Cute straw clutch, how often I think thou art a folded fan and not a bag.

Wills clearly approves of Kate's sunglasses.

A splash of color in 2015 (Princess Charlotte was like two months old at this point, for reference. I think this was the first time she really emerged after the baby was born).

I always love this sunny Roksanda, although of course her shoes are a snooze herein. (A shout-out to her assistant, Rebecca Deacon back there for her also snazzy chevron number. I never really mention Deacon -- she's just a private citizen doing her job -- but this is particularly cute.) This was the day that she popped out because she wanted to see Serena play, as any tennis fan would. (Heather and I went to the US Open in 2016 to see Serena in the semifinals and it was thrilling, although she did NOT play well.)

Everyone was VERY stylish last year. Even you, Wills!

YAY FOR PATTERNS!

And so far this year, things are looking good. I'm sure we'll see Kate a few more times -- definitely at the final, if not another match prior to that -- so fingers crossed that the trend continues.
