Katy showed up to Balenciaga in a tremendous coat, and almost nothing else. She's in rank-looking laddered tights that are, of course, almost certainly made to order that way by Demna, who dragged the brand through a real grubby phase. She looks rich and homeless, like an heiress who lost everything except whatever she wore to have sex with her fiance at the office the night the FBI raided her father's condo.

Katy didn't wear this to a show; she got it specifically to wear while getting out of a limo and walking into her hotel. Most of it is fine, but her best-laid plan was to print the lyrics of her new single onto the cape...

... but then she didn't employ a wrangler, so she went to all that trouble just for the lyrics to be unreadable. So yeah, doing the most, and also the worst.

This photo REALLY confused me for a second until I realized her leg happened to line up EXACTLY with the post there.

She also swung through the Vogue World fashion show, on the catwalk, in this carefully cut-out naked dress. She's feeling VERY abs-y at the moment.

This is perplexing; it is 23% materials from Home Depot and 100% inexplicable. It feels like something someone would have presented to Avril Lavigne at the height of her powers as "an upscale version of your brand" and she would have politely passed. As do I! I say good-day!!
