We were just discussing (via Saoirse Ronan) [actors who have Period Piece Face vs. Modern Face](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/saoirse-ronan-wears-rodarte-and-her-great-face-to-great-effect-11-2017/), and Keira Knightley is basically, to me, the president of The International Association of Period Face Performers. She never looks as natural in jeans and a scrubby hat, to me, as she does as Elizabeth Bennet, so it's little wonder she showed up at this as if she'd just wandered out of a Jane Austen novel. Since everything even remotely old is either new or serialized again, Joe Wright can use this to dream up a *Pride & Prejudice* sequel in which Lydia decides she's a fashion designer, and forces Lizzie to wear a wedding dress that looks like a consolation prize at the local livestock fair and garden party. It's going to be so fun when she and that lout Mr. Wickham go bankrupt.
