This is totally cute and TOTALLY right for the VMAs: Short and girly, like someone you might have worn to prom if you went to prom in a Short Prom Dress era (I did, but my short dress was black and 20s inspired because I'm Gen X).

When we saw this on the runway, the neckline was different, but I really like this variation. It's elegant and relaxed on her.
