This dress is pretty silly. But at the same time, it's also weirdly perfect for Cannes, isn't it? There's fluffy sleeves, a marathon of a train, a lot of leg, a giant bow... it pretty much meets all the criteria other than "risk of nipple." However: THE SOCKS. WHY ARE YOU WEARING SOCKS. YOU'RE RUINING MY GOOD MOOD.

Imagine it if the skirt was floor-length. I think it would have looked REALLY '80s that way, and at least in the current configuration, I can convince myself the dress is having a lighthearted laugh.

It also photographed really niftily.

Kendall and the wind did a nice job with this photo op. The socks can burn though.

This, however, is Fashion for Nincompoops.

This R&R is a cousin to Priyanka Chopra's from the Oscars. It may work better on Kendall, in part because it's not flattening her out, and on Priyanka we could see the netting from the front so it really looked too small.

And, to Bella. Well, it's better than her naked dresses. It's such a surprise to see her covered up that my first reaction honestly was, "Huh, that could have worked on someone else." When it might be perfectly fine on her. I will say that I will say that I'm not sure about the ruffly edging on the bodice, and her necklace may wish it wasn't there.

The back is effective though.

This is just for the people who were concerned she cannot experience joy.

Bella in Roberto Cavalli

Sigh. She is just incapable of surfing on the tide of goodwill. Of COURSE we can see her underwear. OF COURSE.

Bella in Cavalli

This has cutouts on the side and back, which you can't see that well. It's fine? The skirt doesn't service the sparkly disco top.

Kendall

I would really like to know what that martial artist is thinking about Kendall's long johns.

Bella

I am gonna need to see some receipts to believe that's a bathing suit, and not a bra.
