ScarJost in custom D&G

It's custom D&G, because of course. (Scarlett does strike me as someone who would not give a shit about any of that.) And she's also kind of stepping all over it with that heavy eye makeup. It's SO strong. Way too strong. She could have dialed that down 85 percent and dialed up the lip 20 percent.

Kristen Wiig in Gucci

I thought this was a swobe over a gold dress, but no, it's just a sequin panel. Her eyeliner is a little heavy too, but with that bleached hair, she kind of needs most of it? I think the platinum pixie washes her out a little, but what do I know.

Ellie Goulding

Ellie is angling for a job as the angel atop a White House Christmas tree.

David Letterman

Masks over beards always make me giggle.

Dan Levy

I love a cape, and I guess Dan does too. It looks great.

Pete Davidson

Is he INTENTIONALLY turning into Karl Lagerfeld?

Judy Collins

Glorious dress. I also love her face and how distinctive it is. I hadn't thought about or seen her in a long time, but I knew it was her immediately.

Toni Basil

Is she wearing socks and flip-flops, or just wacky shoes? I know, it's strange that I went all the way to the ground to find a nit to pick, but you know. Quirk is her game.

Amy Poehler

Well, the dress is aggressively fine; the lipstick is super with it. Livens up the place.

Bette Midler

She looked just as sleek at the earlier ceremony.

Barbara Hershey

I don't have a pic of Barbara and Bette together, but I have to think they hugged backstage and sang "Adeste, Fideles" or something. Right? Yes. (Although the dress looks a little like Barbara picked it up off the floor with a shrug.)

Beanie Feldstein

The dress is boring, but her head looks great. I would love a crack at accessorizing this differently.

Justino Diaz

ANOTHER cape.

Melissa Manchester

She MIGHT be breaking her own rule and crying out loud, wishing she'd picked a different top.

Kelli O'Hara

I wasn't kidding.

Renee Fleming

This all makes sense.

Seth Meyers

As does this. Seth looks like Seth. He is reliably Seth.

Kenan Thompson and Martin Short

I hope they put Kenan in season two of Only Murders In The Building.

Goldie Hawn

Goldie Hawn seems like someone who truly does always wish you the MOST sincere blessings.

Kate McKinnon

I think this exact photo, and maybe this exact suit, exists several times in Kate's archive of red-carpet events.

Debbie Allen

This feels a little like she was just at a saloon...

Lorne Michaels

It surprises me actually that Lorne hadn't gotten one yet. Congrats to him.

But LOOK how great she looked at the earlier dinner.

Bette Midler

She looks mostly great, but with a confusing... I guess it's not quite a peplum. It's more like a built-in napkin.

Andy and Elly Blankenbuehler

He was honored a few years ago. Her dress is AMAZING -- seriously, it's a dream, and it fits perfectly.

Brandi Carlile

This isn't my favorite suit of Brandi's, but a tailcoat is an all-too-rare sight and I'm happy about it.

J'Nai Bridges

CAPES FOR ALL.

Berry Gordy

I am ALSO surprised he hadn't gotten this yet.

Carmen de Lavallade

This actually also has a whiff of saloon about it. It makes me realize I would go to that saloon.

Christiani Pitts

That's really, really pretty.

Kamala Harris

I wish I had a better look at this. It appears to have a dramatic sleeve?

Dr. Jill Biden in Reem Acra

Dr. Jill looked superb in this -- what a great color.

And here's your shot of the beadwork. It's really stunning. Reem Acra isn't seen as commonly anymore and what a nice resurgence that is.
