(Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) She looks so good in this. It's dramatic, it's precise, it's like a rebooted gender-flipped Dick Tracy -- something I endorse if Sheryl wants to do it. ## Tina Knowles ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151017895-1714953734.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Tina Knowles attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Somehow it's the sunglasses that push this over the Cliffs of Hilarity for me. ## Wynonna Judd ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019660-1714953930.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Wynonna Judd attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) I would go to this circus. ## Sandra "Pepa" Denton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019832-1714953967.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Sandra Denton attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) This pattern might have too much going on for it to be a tiered skirt? Then again, maybe it has enough going on that you don't immediately notice the tiered skirt. ## Lindsay Czarniak ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151017956-1714953778.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Lindsay Czarniak attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) She's one of the sportscasters, and her dress is beautiful. I guess her hat is supposed to be a leaf, but it looks more like a lilypad. ## Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151017812-1714953719.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: (L-R) Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins attend the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) They look... JUST coordinated enough, but not so much that it's bonkers. ## Smokey Robinson, Frances Gladney ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151018005-1714953787.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: (L-R) Smokey Robinson and Frances Gladney attend the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Now THAT IS A HAT. ## Jimmy Fallon ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151017913-1714953748.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Jimmy Fallon attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) He looks like he cannot open his eyes, or focus them. ## Stephen Amell, Cassandra Jean ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151017923-1714953758.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Stephen Amell and Cassandra Jean attend the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) I don't know if I think her robe is the greatest building block for an outfit? He looks... fine? Can you SEE my shrug? ## Josh Groban ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151017941-1714953767.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Josh Groban attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Maybe a tie, Josh? ## Jordan Nine, Kyle Rudolph ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151018091-1714953798.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: (L-R) Jordan Nine and Kyle Rudolph attend the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Ah, good old Kyle, who played TE at Notre Dame (and in the pros, but whatever). His suit delights me, but I want a shoe intervention for his wife, just because those beige ones are incongruous with the rest of it. ## Desmond Ridder ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151018142-1714953809.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Desmond Ridder attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Desmond was on my fantasy football bench this year, and I got myself into a pickle -- by completely forgetting to pay attention -- where one week I didn't have any starting quarterbacks who were actually supposed to PLAY, because Mahomes was on a bye and the other two had been benched. I crossed my fingers and played Ridder anyway, and he ended up getting some reps and 7 total points. So TEAM DESMOND! ## Jack Harlow ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151018257-1714953820.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Jack Harlow attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) This is all very heavy and blah. ## Emmett Smith ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151018259-1714953830.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Emmitt Smith attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) THIS IS NOT. I enjoy Emmett's commitment to honoring himself. ## Isiah Pacheco ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151018277-1714953844.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Isiah Pacheco attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Travis Kelce didn't seem to walk the red carpet, though he was there, but his teammate did. That jacket seems to have a nice texture and I wish the outfit itself were darker so that it stood out more? The cream-on-white almost never works. ## Holly Robinson Peete ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151018288-1714953866.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Holly Robinson Peete attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Lots of white this year. ## Michael Lockwood and Lisa Leslie ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019905-1714953977.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: (L-R) Michael Lockwood and Lisa Leslie attend the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) So very much white! ## Kenny Burns and Jessica Burns ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019583-1714953907.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: (L-R) Kenny Burns and Jessica Burns attend the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) I am not sure who they are, but I decided to salute their tribute to his-and-hers polka dots. ## Amon-Ra St. Brown ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019551-1714953883.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Amon-Ra St. Brown attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) This is pretty low-key, but still stylish. ## Seth Rollins ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019580-1714953897.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Seth Rollins attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) He is a wrestler, and frankly, I think he looks fantastic??! For a spring event like this, he nailed the palette and the panache. ## Vernon Davis ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019700-1714953939.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Vernon Davis attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Every piece here seems to be a different color. It's too much. ## Chris Tucker ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019717-1714953949.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Chris Tucker attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Chris kept it very simple. ## Sunny Choi ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019800-1714953958.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Sunny Choi attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Did you know they added breakdancing for the 2024 Olympics?!? She's on the U.S. team. I love that almost as much as I am PERPLEXED by her top. ## Star Jones ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019939-1714953986.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: (L-R) Star Jones and Ricardo Lugo attend the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) Star is dressed like a tropical plant and I love it. Her date also looks snazzy. ## Martha Stewart ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2151019975-1714953997.jpg) LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - MAY 04: Martha Stewart attends the Kentucky Derby 150 at Churchill Downs on May 04, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. (Photo by Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for Churchill Downs) This is FINE, but... is it also blah? Martha should never be blah. But Martha is Martha, so maybe that is enough to override "blah"? [As Usual, the Kentucky Derby Gave Us Famous People in Hats'Tis the season.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2024/05/gettyimages-2151019654-1714953917.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/as-usual-the-kentucky-derby-gave-us-fairly-famous-people-in-hats-05-2024/)
