Jackson sees a young couple (Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington) become the target of their next-door neighbour (Jackson), a tightly wound LAPD officer who disapproves of their interracial relationship, after they move into their new home. As his harassment of the newlyweds escalates the couple decide to fight back.
Ah, yet another good patterned gown! Samuel L. Jackson back there approves.

AMFAR Cinema Against AIDS Charity Auction at the Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc, Antibes, France - 21 May 2009
All the stars currently in Cannes for the illustrious film festival dolled up to the max for amFAR's Cinema Against AIDS charity event to help raise money with a celebrity auction. The gala's main event was a live auction, co-hosted by Hollywood heavyweight producer Harvey Weinstein: items bid for included the autographed saxophone played by former US President Bill Clinton on a TV show when he was in the White House (fetching 130,000 euros), a kiss from 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson (20,000 euro per peck) and a unique Steven Meisel photograph of Madonna from the Louis Vuitton fashion campaign (30,000 euros). Founded in 1985, amFAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, is dedicated to ending the global epidemic and last year's amfAR auction raised $7million. SAME OUTFIT BY MARCHESA AS WENDY MURDOCH

Synopsis: A Taiwanese filmmaker makes a film based on the myth of Salomé at the Louvre. Even though he speaks neither French nor English, he insists on giving the part of King Herod to the French actor Jean-Pierre Léaud. To give the film a chance at the box-office, the production company gives the role of Salomé to a world famous model. But problems arise as soon as filming begins…
Amidst all this confusion, the director suddenly learns of his mother’s death. The producer flies to Taipei, to attend the funeral. The director falls into a deep sleep where his mother’s spirit does not seem to want to leave her old apartment. The producer has no choice but to wait, alone and lost in a strange city.
Generally, I advise folks to pick a sleeve. But this would look very uptight with two sleeves. I give a thumbs up to this one lone sleeve.
