This seems a bit of a crunchy mess. The color is nice, but that material is so unforgiving to a designer that I'm surprised anyone uses it -- I just feel like it amplifies every little crinkle or pull, and the top seems to want to be very snug and yet also working a slouchy-sexy thing, and they work in opposition to one another here.

That's a good casual dress for a panel discussion. It MIGHT wash her out a little? But honestly I think that's just that this photo is from a bad angle.

She looks pretty sleek in this, though, which is what she wore to pick up the actual physical award.

This isn't TOTALLY off-base for her, but there's something a tiny bit "Riley Keough cosplay" about it. Like she's trying on someone else's designer association to see if it works for her, and all it's doing is making me think of who else should be in it. And as I typed this caption, I thought, "I've had this thought before," and VOILA, [the time I put Marion Cotillard's and then Jennifer Connelly's heads on Julianne's body](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/julianne-moore-looks-like-a-cloud-04-2019/). (That time it was Valentino.)

This, however, is more like her. I am very sad we didn't have a full-length photo of this, [but her Instagram has lovingly obliged](https://www.instagram.com/p/BzVq4alnbMn/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). The way it hangs on her is a bit boxy -- I feel like she needs to pin back the ruffles that are sticking straight out from her waist, and it would help? Did it need a gentle belting? -- but the ruffles and the canary color are both very romantic and lovely on her. it needs tweaks but it feels right.
