I am sure while the makeup artist was doing this look, she was saying things like, "this is so fresh and clean! So spring-y! So YOUNG!" and I think it probably looks lovely in person -- or would have been fantastic with a different colored dress. But given her new hair color and the creamy tone of the dress, I just want to grab her and pull her over to the side so we can get some color onto her face. "PUT MY PINK LIP GLOSS ON, EMMA. DO IT!" I'd say, and then security would come.

I actually think this dress is, on its own, super-cute. And if she were wearing it with her red hair (and perhaps more colorful shoes?), I would probably be all over it. Instead, I feel like she looks so monochromatic. You know how I feel about looking monochromatic.

"Do you want to toss my blazer on for a pop of color, hon?"
"Aw, that's sweet. Let's make out."
