This is gorgeous on her, and ever so precisely fitted up top. The hem might be a TINY BIT off, given that I can see the lining poking out? Still, while I might have done a bracelet or a necklace, I think this is beautiful and I only wish she'd gotten to wear it longer.

However, Kristen wore only black dresses once inside, which I suspect was her nod to Time's Up and the fact that the SAGs chose to use all female presenters. This was her opening gown, and it's also fantastic.

This one was my favorite of the bunch, though; I'm sad I don't have a shot of the whole thing. I think the collar is -- intentionally or not -- a nifty tie-in with the gown she wore on the red carpet, and the overall style seems comfortable but also still appropriately fancy. I love it.

And that's... you know, fine. But not the most upbeat ending. I wish the bodice at least had a pattern, or a swirl of white or a metallic. SOMETHING to give it some emotional lift to close the night. Still, as Mr. Meat Loaf might opine, three out of four ain't bad, and this is really actually more like 3.5 out of 4.
