# Kristen Stewart Closed Out the Berlin Film Festival in a Sad Trombone

I have made a complicated series of faces while looking at this look. Like my face has run the gamut from Chrissy Teigen's Yikes Face at the Oscars to Tim Gunn's Classic I'm Concerned. I AM concerned. This sheer thing is *so* tired and while K.Stew's styling team has really given this partnership in general and this look in particular their sincere all, they have to be muttering, "when is this Chanel thing *over*?" to themselves while they work. I'm glad Kristen is getting that Chanel money, for real, but how is this marriage of star and label doing any of them any favors when this is the output? *She* would look better in a wide range of other, more esoteric, designers and could do them a solid by lending her punky, cool vibe to their work, and *Chanel* should maybe try appealing to their core demographic again. Like, I am sorry, the majority of women who are shelling out for Chanel do not want their granny-pantied butt hanging out at an event:

Chanel is not inherently COOL and YOUNG, and it doesn't have to be. Chanel is a *classic* and their last collection had tweed and little jackets up the ying-yang because that's what people are buying from Chanel and THAT IS OKAY. DANCE WITH THE ONE THAT BROUGHT YOU. Let Kristen Stewart be free to slink up to these things in something from Rick Owens or Chloe! Let us end this charade!

At least the boots are cool.
