What a way to open Venice. Move over, Cannes (and you're on notice, Toronto). This is elegantly sexy and completely arresting.

I wish the back was as good. It looks too tight on her in parts, and while the lopsided train works from the other angle, from here it just seems weighty. I'm going to stick with the front.

In the close-up you can see the stunning work on the hem (which matches the sleeves) and her cool shoes, which are by Sophia Webster.

Sunglasses just make it even groovier. Also, her pixie grow-out is coming along nicely. It's very tousled and flippy here in a way that I appreciate, especially as she arrived by boat, and it's REALLY HARD to control what your hair is doing in that scenario.
