I had talked myself into really liking Kristen's haircut in the short, blond iteration -- this from someone who historically prefers her as a brunette -- but I gather she's decided to jump ship, and she's in that potentially awkward grow-out phase envied by no one. She's handling it better sometimes than others, as anyone would, and honestly often it's the clothes that cast the deciding vote on that score.
