She opened in something festive, at least. I love that Kristen went with pink shoes with this -- you can't totally make them out in this grainy shot, but when she came out it was an immediate wink.

I think my issue with this is that I wish they had edged up her styling. The very short hair slicked to the side, and the very very shiny makeup and pale lipstick, don't really work with it. Obviously when she has to jump into a sketch she can't do the big smoky eye I want, but I don't think this all clicks to her best advantage.

These two ladies joined her for a song. Maya's outfit bums me out, but I love Kate's velvet blazer, and wish I had gotten myself something special and festive for the season. I'm trying not to acquire things. I could have made an exception.

I couldn't resist showing Secret Word Actress's outfit. Same as it ever was. I just enjoy that Kristen commits to this as fully as ever.

Can't Keep A Secret Lady is demonstrating the only acceptable use of an Elf on the Shelf.

For some reason, I got this one on the stream but none of her other ones? This is, truly, what I wish I was doing and wearing right now. I want to drift around my house, eccentrically glam, while clumsily slurping a martini.

I was not successful in getting graceful grabs of her musical intros. She brought a fair few outfits to this thing. First, this enormous boatneck Stripes With Buboes situation...

And then a sweater I like, and a skirt that both doesn't go with it AND makes me want to scream a little scream of EEEEEEEEE.

I also got this of Dua Lipa, which looks like she stuffed her bra and forgot to hide it.

That's reportedly vintage, and it's fairly boring. It got lost in the lighting a lot. I was really underwhelmed by it and thought maybe there wouldn't be anything to post about from this episode, and then she came on for her second performance and I understood that she was simply laying boring groundwork for a BIG SPLASH...

... in which she came out dressed as a sea anemone. Or a jellyfish. A HYBRID. A sea anemone and a jellyfish walked into a bar and six drinks later they were in the bathroom making a souvenir of their wild night and it is on Dua Lipa's body.

You don't have to point at me and demand my attention, Dua. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO LOOK AT YOU.

We got a whole press release about this massive ring. It's by Faberge -- yes, the egg makers -- AND IT'S AMAZING. I went to the website to try and guess the price, and far smaller ones are listed for 34k Euros, and then there are some that say "Price On Application," which is their way of saying, "If you have to ask, you cannot afford it." NO KIDDING. It's fantastic.

Her choreography, though, was really terrible? Both of them looked like they were designed for Zoom, with mostly just rocking hips -- as if trying desperately not to wet herself -- and then a lot of waving arms. (Are they all making the capital-L LOSER sign!?) Considering she absolutely did not appear to be singing any of it live, I'm surprised the dancing was so minimal. She didn't even move off her stump here. I guess the hat did all the work.

Kristen looks super cute here, and Dua Lipa, BLESS HER, left the hat on, and she looks like Bride of Sweetums in this shot. (Ego, WHAT is that shirt you are wearing? I'm being generous in calling it a shirt, actually.)

This shot gives Dua's hat some movement. It also shows Chloe Fineman's dress. Two birds, one screen cap.
