Too much is happening here. We have wide-legged pants AND a dress with asymmetry AND cutouts that look like maybe a sea creature is giving her the Heimlich AND an explosion on her chest AND a bunch of keys and some scissors. I keep wondering if the designer was inspired by an 19th century junk drawer on display in a museum of oddities.

Slicked-back-bun Nicole is my least favorite. She looks really good in this, and I like enough parts of this that MAYBE I like the whole? But I keep wondering what it'd look like if the skirt started at the belt (would you need the belt?) or stayed sleek, or started a bit lower. Where it is... that's slightly awkward.

This is about as straightforward as it gets. I was a little bummed out to see her rejecting something a bit more glamorous -- it's Cannes, it's amfAR, etc -- but it turns out that was in service of the back.

Certainly the cut is very alluring, and the jewelry that was is interesting. Ultimately, is it worth it for something that's such a snore when you're facing forward?

Close-ups of jewelry are always encouraged.

Coco is a chameleon. She has sold me on almost every hair color -- red, platinum -- and cut that she's tried since she broke onto the scene as a long-haired brunette. When she posted shots of her chop on Instagram and said her blonde days were done, I got excited... and then this appeared. That looks like a cheap Liza Minnelli wig, and the makeup looks so clumsy. All of this, in fact, looks like Rose McGowan auditioning for Dynasty, not realizing it's a reboot. Once she settles into the 'do, maybe I'll change my mind, but this was NOT an auspicious debut.
