This has a bit of a Princess Leia quality to it. If only she had shown up with the double buns. Full Star Wars cosplay on a royal tour sounds TOTALLY appropriate.

A couple of you wished the Safiyaa's cape had more contrast in it somewhere so that we didn't lose her shape entirely, and this photo made me think of that. The woman walking behind her almost gives the illusion that this dress has a teal-lined cape behind it, and I found myself being sad that it DIDN'T. Perhaps that kind woman could just shadow Meghan the rest of the night?

Here's the back. My back hurts from seeing how far hers is arching. I hope she brought a lumbar pillow.

And, here you go on the earrings. And the blush. I don't really wear blush because, whoops, I never actually learned how to apply makeup that wasn't mascara or lipstick, so 99 times out of 100 I don't bother. Does blush usually go that far back to one's hairline? And get so much darker there? It seems like the highest concentration of pigment is almost at her temples. I love the updo, though, and I think something in that vein would've been nice with the Safiyaa, too.
